Welcome to the Art Program
My name is Mrs. Cardenas, I am the Visual art teacher at P.S. 140 the Edward K. Ellington Magnet school. I try to make learning fun and engaging for all students. My favorite thing to do is teach students about diverse artists from different cultural backgrounds especially artists that are still alive today.
The best thing about teaching art is that I get to know the students, I love learning about them, and having them year after year. I am so lucky I get to teach ALL the students at P.S. 140!
